The monthly release notes for Reporting this month confirm that Concur is making changes in both Analysis and Intelligence reporting for additional language availabilities, which require some coding changes to some of the standard reports. Concur will copy any affected report, make the necessary coding changes in this new version and then release this copy as the new version of the report. This means a whole new report, and for a period of time both the old and new copy versions of the report will be available in reporting and so you may not immeadiately spot the change. But if you have reports scheduled to run in your organisation, as this process is a whole new report (and not just changes to the existing report that would be already set in your scheduled job) you will need to schedule the new ‚copy‘ version of the report to run.
How to recognise new Concur Reports
The reports will follow a naming convention that the previous reports will have ‚(original)‘ included in the report name and then newly created, language updated report will have the usual report name. For example, the standard report ‚Expense Entry Analysis Details (grouped by expense type)‘ available in both Analysis and Intelligence reporting. If this report were change, the old version would be renamed too; ‚Expense Entry Analysis Details (grouped by expense type) (Original)‘ and then new version to set in your required schedule will be ‚Expense Entry Analysis Details (grouped by expense type)‘. **
Keep track with Concur Updates and Release Notes
The original report version will be deleted at a later date, and so you have the time to make sure that you scheduled reports are moved over. Concur are making the changes in a phased approach as well, so there will not be any sudden panic to update all of your schedules reports at once. Keep an eye on the Concur monthly release notes to keep up to date with which reports have been updated that month.
