Ever more SAP Payroll users switch to PDF files for payslip forms – often using the opportinity, when they need to change the payslip anyway due to changes in statutory requirements (such as the recent new legislation for payslips in Germany). However, some users struggle with handling those PDFs.
Whilst the old forms allowed scrolling down in the „normal“ SAP navigation style, the new Adobe Forms are controlled via the arrow icons above the form. However, if a user tries to save the form now, it will only save the one payslip on display, not the payslips of all employees selected.
SAP note 1602625 describes a way to create one PDF file with all payslips. Prerequisites are the creation of an appropriate printer via transaction SPAD and SAP GUI 7.20 with patch level 5 or higher. Note that very large files may cause performance issues. You may have to experiment a bit to decide which number still works for your technical context.
