Problem:
Employees can request the deletion of infotype 2001 and 2002 records in ESS through the leave request service. Even though these requests are approved (they are automatically approved immediately, if no approval process is active), report RPTARQPOST doesn’t delete these records.
Nevertheless the deletion requests are stored as processed (as you can see in transaction PTARQ, which can easily lead to confusion with users and to doubling up leave requests. This issue only occurs, if RPTARQPOST is run with Flag „Post with Infotype Match“ set. It comes as a side effect of note 1835788. This note leads to these records no longer being selected and therefore the deletion can’t be executed.
The issue can be resolved by applying note 1881248. This note can be implemented via transaction SNOTE without any manual activities.
