When is my SuccessFactors Delta Certification Due?

Just a quick tip, because some readers asked following Chris‘ article about his Employee Central Delta Exam, how they would know they need to do a SuccessFactors Delta Certification and how they can get access to the SAP LearningHub, if they don’t get it through their employer.

Well, you should definitely register in the SAP credentials manager / consultant registry (www.sapcredentialmanager.com). This will not only allow customers and recruiters to verify your certifications, but you’ll also receive alerts, when a delta certification is due. This can be as often as twice a year.

Registering in the SAP Consultant Registery is Essential

In case you miss the alerts, you will also see the expiration date next to your certification. Don’t do the SuccessFactors delta exam at the last minute. If you fail first time round and don’t have time for a second attempt, or for some reason such as connection issues you can’t do the test before due date, you’ll have to do the full certification again to get to „certified“ status.

Pleas enote they use the weird American date format starting with the month (yes, dear American friends: it is weird and you should change it some day. Split Registry Entries May Block your Delta Exam

A recent issue some consultants had: they had two different registry entries under the same name. This usually happens, when a new certification is registered under a different email address (or maybe also a different s-user) than the existing certifications. In these cases, the certification hub can refer to only one of the two and may therefore not be aware of some of your initial certifications. This will result in you not being allowed to do the Delta exam. The best way we’ve found so far to sort this is to raise a ticket in the consultant registry, but an email to SAP education may also work. Note that this may take soem time, so it’s critical to chek it early to avoid losing your certification!
