Some customers using SAP UK payroll got a bit of a scare recently, when they tried to access infotype 3297 through the text rather than the number or the selection list in PA30/PA20 tab strips.
So, if they typed „Pension“ or „Pensions Reform“ they expected infotype 3297 to be among the results, but it wasn’t.
Reason:
it seems that this text has been lost in client 000 at some point. So, if values from client 000 have been reconciled, the text has gone in your system.
It’s not really an issue. All the data is still there and payroll and reports are still working fine – the infotype just doesn’t have a name anymore. To rectify this, just add the text back in table view V_T582a and you’re done.
