Here’s another useful integration just announced, which I’m singling out as an example because GigSky is quite popular with frequent travellers: if you have a GigSky account, you can have your e-receipts automatically go into Concur.
GigSky is a data roaming service that many travellers use when travelling in countries they don’t have a data plan for. Rather than hoping for wifi, they buy data allowance through a GigSky account, creating another one of those annoying little expense receipts to capture. If you are using GigSky and Concur, you can now switch on the Concur integration with your GigSky account in the Concur mobile app, which looks like this:
Now when you buy a data allowance, there is a flag in the confirmation window to have the e-receipts sent to Concur. It is set by default, but can be un-flagged if it’s not a business expense:
There’s nothing else you need to do: once you confirm the transaction, your e-receipt will appear in your list of expenses in Concur just like magic:
There are a variety of vendors offering this integration already and there are only going to be more in future.
